A wiki is like a workshop.
A workshop is where you make things. In the case of a wiki, you make webpages.
A display center for the pages created herein may be a more formal CMS site, a blog, or so on. (or in the famous case of wikipedia, it is it's own display frontend too)
ThorxWiki is aimed at being a workshop however. A blog or similar for announcing and sharing ideas chronologically may be forthcoming.
