These are nearly the ultimate hot snack food. You can think of them as a kind of proto-Pizza

Invented by Rob, tested by Andrew, perfected by Terri, eaten by Nemo.

They're toasted/grilled/broiled open sandwhiches arranged like:

.,.,.,.,    <- Salt and LemonPepper
^^^^^^^^    <- Cheese
~~~~~~~~    <- Shaved Ham
oooooooo    <- Onion
++++++++    <- Tomato
########    <- Bread, lightly pre-toasted

Grill untill the cheese is lightly melted, and the Salt and LemonPepper has bonded to the cheese. The cheese should not brown.

Some alternative options

• Salt after the tomato layer, rather than the cheese layer
• Mustard on the bread layer, no lemon pepper
