This is a bad mathgeek page

You have now been warned.

Given the constants:

pi = 3.14159265

e = 2.71828183

Thus, pie = 8.53973422

So, I now propose that a slice of pie be 1/pie which works out to be 0.117099663

8 Slices of our pie is thus 0.936797304

The remainder being, of course, crumbs = 0.0632026956

To make that a bit more english, you cut your pie into 8 slices but will probably lose about 6% of the overall pie quantity as crumbs.

I hereby propose that 'slice' and 'crumbs' be formally defined as such:

  • slice = (1/pie)
  • crumbs = (1-(8/pie))
